Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover MENA (6-7 months)

We’re looking for a temporary Business Marketing Manager, MENA.

 

In this role, you’ll partner with the Marketing, Sales, Design, Product, Insights, Communication, Creative Strategy and legal teams from our local and global offices around the world to develop and execute world-class business marketing programs.

 

Working from our Dubai office, you’ll plan efforts across key MENA markets to drive awareness and consideration of our business solutions for enterprise marketers looking to advertise for our Client. Your mission is to solidify and amplify the Client’s core proposition value by building compelling local narratives and marketing material, and executing world class marketing programs and events. This is a highly cross-functional role working across multiple teams and geographies. We are looking for an experienced marketer with a self-starting attitude who has a proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position is for a 6-7 months period starting in March 2020.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Support the marketing strategy definition
  • and roadmap for the region
  • Ideate, plan and execute high impact marketing programs
  • Develop regional specific narratives, content for key industry events, for Client-hosted large-scale events and for smaller scale roadshows, at a high frequency
  • Lead content development for case studies, videos and marketing collateral that demonstrate the value of our Client to theirclients, and develop scaled distribution plan (i.e. webinars, email, blog)
  • Identify and fuel new distribution channels to scale and amplify our marketing efforts (i.e. newsletter, LinkedIn page, partnerships)
  • Partner with Design, Creative, and external vendors to guide creative execution of deliverables and with Legal to ensure content approval in time
  • Maintain inventory of marketing and sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate on our Forbusiness website and in our internal tools

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience developing and executing strategy, positioning and messaging for a brand or product in an advertising agency or marketing organization
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Travel required for events as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A track record of success in regional marketing roles,
  • B2B or B2C, building full-funnel advertising campaigns
  • A superb track record for project and program management,
  • cross-functional leadership, and team management
  • Storyteller with experience translating insights, product
  • information and data into client-facing marketing presentations that demonstrate client value
  • Experience managing and executing events
  • Experience guiding creative production of campaigns,
  • printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion
  • with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience thinking creatively, communicating and presenting to internal groups, and a deep proficiency in brand building
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
