DescriptionThis is a Contract role under ManpowerGroup - 3 months renewable contract

You will be part of the Global Public Sector (GPS) Business Operations, Strategy & Planning Team supporting the business:
- performing financial analysis to drive actionable insights;
- driving operational excellence in everything you do (data validation and accuracy)
As a Business Analyst, you will help identify and prioritize Cisco Global Public Sector’s biggest challenges and key opportunities in the areas of process, performance and strategic planning. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their analytical and business needs, and provide data for informed decision-making. You will also need to think strategically, connect the dots of the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables. Focused on the financial analytics for the Global Public Sector team, your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• Creating and managing dashboards and analytics platforms
• Developing metrics, reporting, and analytics to understand and optimize program drivers and impact
• Tracking performance of bookings and funnel / pipeline
• Distilling insights, opportunity areas, and actionable recommendations from qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Ensure integrity of the numbers to enable accurate and timely reporting to support insightful business decisions and performance measurement
• Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders
• Prepare analyses and deliverables to support corporate processes, e.g., Annual Plan, Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Long Range Planning (LRP) and Quarterly Earnings release
• Ability to address escalations, quickly assess and develop root cause analysis and solutions for operational escalations. Engage/collaborate with the various teams within Cisco (i.e. Global Business Services) to identify and scope the gaps, risks, requirements and outcome for business challenges.
• Drive regular meetings and relationship management with Global Business Services counterparts to facilitate standardized and consistent reporting
• Support the sales team with new fiscal year readiness and planning activities by generating bookings reports and funnel reports

Must have skills for this role:
• SQL programming and development - Extensive experience in database and SQL skills such as analyzing and improving table performance analysis and tuning SQL queries. Knowledge in Database Management Systems including MS SQL Server. Ability to utilize database software to manipulate ‘big data’, generate reports and analyze data to deliver key insights
• SAP Business Objects - Design, develop and implement solutions leveraging the SAP Business Objects data foundation in order to enhance business functionality. Experience with SAP HANA is a plus
• Advanced Tableau Skills: Strong skillset in designing dashboard, creating reports, performing business analysis and data visualization Knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce.com) to run queries and create dashboards
• Exceptional Financial Modeling, Analysis and MS Excel skills (including pivot tables, macros etc)
